Hi Lee,
The short answer is: The new tape frame is mechanically a bigimprovement on the old, new tape springs, turnbuckles with axles androllers etc. I ordered the new tape frame with the voices I thought Iwould want to use most often but I have changed my mind. I want to putnew tapes into the new frame and move the current tapes into the oldframe as a back up. I don't plan to changed the tape frames very oftenbut I certainly would not want to bin a new set of tapes even if I amnot going to use them much!
Incidentally thinking of this has suggested a possible partialsolution, I could swap the tape springs and turnbuckles between framesand then just relace the tapes in the old frame and use that, hmm notsure if that is much easier.
