I love the Fizmo,  probably because it is different. It does need a PSU mod before it is roadable.

The Poly 61 was crap, very weak sound engine and cheaply made.

The Polysix had that dreadful leaking battery placement. The Mono Poly was brilliant.

I think the D50 with a programmer is better than any of it's contemporaries, you can't always guess what it is. 

Anything by EMS with anything that looks like keys.  The opposite for the other half of the box. 

Which Micro Korg are you talking about ? pre or post 2k ?

Dunno about the Fizmo, but in defense of the Ensoniq Mirage, I use it as an adjunct keyboard, and have a track in the works that mixes the Mellotron "Watcher" mix and the Mirage disk's 3-violins sound to create a very powerful hybrid sound.  I've also used my trusty Roland Juno-60 (with custom patches) the same way.
