  I should've said that I was not enjoying the vocals and guitar and the listless performance enough that by the time Peter Giles started snapping and popping, I saw that there was still 9 minutes or so to go and decided to move on.

  As yet another bassist, I found the bass playing offensive enough that I stopped the video shortly after Mr Giles got started. Slapping has its place: in a Sly Stone song for example.
