Use a Dremel tool and a cut-off disk to cut the screwdriver notch a bit deeper and to clean it up. also, a little Liquid Wrench applied from underneath should sink into the threads in an hour or so and then you should be able to remove the screw. It is always important to have the proper size screwdriver blade so that you don't bugger up the screw head.
