Wow! Thanks for posting that, Jack. Sure took me back. Close to 50
years now. Thanks also to Mark for the original post. Can't say I
immediately caught the Moonchild reference, but was not listening under
the best of conditions, so will have to try again later.

BTW, if anyone out there ever hears of John Zorn's project called
Moonchild, AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE! It's f∗∗king awful. They were at
the recent Victoriaville festival
(http://www.fimav.qc.ca/en/edition/horaire/). Joey Barron is a good
drummer, and Trevor Dunn was ok on bass, but I could certainly do
without Mike Patton screaming up a lung half the time. If there were
any actual words involved they were totally unintelligible. Zorn didn't
even play, just ran the mixing desk (oh, apart from the "encore" when
he came out and flailed his arms about in a half-assed attempt at
conducting. The only thing worse was his other project, the night
before called "The Dreamers". Boring and mostly tedious lounge music.
At least Zorn was on stage for that one, though all he did was
more "conducting" - which hardly seemed necessary - from a chair, and
only played on one piece, for about three minutes, max. Total waste of
time if you ask me (you didn't? Oh, sorry. Back to 'trons, then).
