Except that mine has a choice of either Chamberlain or m400' not mk2!

The only digital instrument I've heard to come close to the mk2 sound is the Memotron's Crimson's strings I think it was. Even then it didn't quite nail it IMO.
I think it would be great if John and Martin were able to record the raw output of a mk2 (warts n all) and have those untreated sounds available either as tapes for the 400 or as a digital option for say the m3000.
Just a thought.

The pre-amp emulations on the M4000D are built in - on the menus settings,
you can select Chamberlin M1 or Tron MkII.
