Hi John-
It was in tough shape, yup.  I installed new capstan bearings, new belt, fixed the motor mounts, cleaned up & lubed the motor.  The case has been cleaned and stabilized, but not repainted (yet).  Keyboard assembly was given a tear-down and build-up.  Streetly did an azmuth alignment (thanks Martin!).  All contacts (card-edge, pins, sockets) were cleaned.  The power supply was a major concern, as some of the original soldered connections fell apart with just a touch!  Fixed that, did the low-noise mod & mains switch fix(to avoid electrocution), but it still needs a neater re-wiring.  It runs quietly now, no wobblies.
The original frame tapes (BBS- flute/M400 3 violins/'cello) are in poor shape, with lots of evidence of folds, shortening due to breaks, & replete with audible pops and such.  It probably has some stretches and HF loss, but is probably my favorite.  My other frames are mostly new tapes, with no evidence of wobblies when played.

My back hurt after that summer! ;-)   And, I missed the sound.  Many thanks to Frank Stickle and Jerry Korb for their advice.
