Subject: RE: [newmellotrongroup] Analysis: BankSynths Vintage Instrument Tour (Part 1)

Thanks Robert, that was a great link plus several others.

I liked the RMI piano demo.  When run through the phaser I heard several tones I always wondered about.

There was also a demo by TMB’s guitarist showing Hackett’s pedal board.  One tone I’ve never been able to get is Hackett’s tone on “I Know What I Like” from the Seconds Out album.  He has some ultra compressed sustained fuzz that is amazing.  Any guitar players here ever been able to get close to this?

Regards,

John

This video was recently posted on YouTube, and I thought it would be of interest to some of you guys.

Well, Dave wouldn't invite me to his studio, but at least I got a virtual tour.

Cheers,

Robert
