This is I think, is a good example of how much a mellotron can be processed and still be recognisable. It started life as a backing track to a cover of Woolly's song "The Will to Fly". I used the Redtron vst as I had already recorded the vocal and ukulele track and couldn't be bothered fighting #1565 over the tuning , it has had a lot of processing and a bit of microkorg added. I really like the resulting sound although it's nothing like what I started with, I still think it sounds like a mellotron is in there somewhere.
