i just want to say to everyone happy holidays--i don't post much but CRIMSON 69-74 are my all time favorite group----and i let THIN LIZZY slide in there too as a "ROCK" group-----AND SABBATH TOO

but regardless of how bizarre FRIPP is-----and he is!!!--it's amazing that he put together all of those subsequent line-ups that made incredible and totally different music......except i'm sure IAN MACDONALD never got his due for the POSEIDON record.....

i'm babbling---i just love that music.....and the trons!!!

What is it you don't have? I often pray that someone will come up with a bootleg of the 28th October 1973 gig at Birmingham (U.K.) Town Hall. I went to that gig, and in the 40-odd years I've been going to gigs, that STILL remains the best ever. Not loud, yet perfectly audible, Great music, perfectly played AND a good audience atmosphere.
This comment reminds me of when I saw Genesis the first time they played a concert in Miami at the Gusman Philharmonic Hall (March 1974) for their Selling England by the Pound tour.  Perfect sound (not loud) and performance.

Both are GREAT records...
Happy Holidays !
