Generally speaking, some of the current crop of users mentioned in this article makes music so bland and uninteresting that name-checking 'mellotron' is used to give them validity.

The first sentence is interesting, given recent discussions.

And does anyone else find it wearing that 'current users' have to be
name-checked to give it some kind validity?
