Martin -

Good day and hope all is well in Tronland.

It seems that you have been scammed by a robot. The robot looks for email addresses (online classified ads, etc.) that are connected to an item presumably being sold and sends a minimal email that plugs in the item for sale -- just to get a response. This happens to us regularly. These often are used for money laundering or other scam.

The email is intentionally crappy. This isn't a person who cares, let alone cares about polite discourse or proper language.

Now, I recall a certain quotable Irishman who said something about two peoples separated by a common language.....

Cheers!
Vance
Thanks!

Dear All,

I recieved this message:

<<What is the dollar value of the Mellotron mkII #∗∗∗?  I may be interested in purchasing it.>>

That's it.  Where are the common courtesies of hello, please and thankyou?  I am fucking well fed up with the lack of manners in emails, sadly eminating from the USA in almost every instance.  People want our help but can't couch it with any grace or politeness.  This person can get well and truly stuffed.  So, to my esteemed US friends, what do you think?
