I just pulled out my two 420s (one where I swapped FM1 and FM2 by accident),
and popped in my two 440s. They sound great, but I had swapped FM1 and FM2
on both of those too. Geez. No wonder, the damn numbering of pots on the
front panels of those filters is jumbled. 1,3,2 and 5,7,6.

I'm using my Roland SH-7 to control my MOTM using the CV and Gate outputs
(with a mess of alligator clips and resistors to chop down the gate level).
I measured the CV out on the bottom C note and got a reading toggling between
2.00 and 2.01. Up the octaves I got 3.00, 4.00 and 5.00 exactly. I had no
idea that both the synth and my BBC meter were so accurate. Both the synth
and meter would have to be accurate to less than 1/100 of a volt for these
kinds of readings. Amazing.
