I would seriously consider another 420; the sound-shaping possibilities with
two are much more than doubled. Or, you could get a 440 filter and play with
using that and the 420 (in low-pass mode). For CVs, you will be very happy
with the 320 LFO. It is incredibly useful, and if you get yourself a drum
machine or interface with trigger outs, you can use that to reset the LFO
wave for rhythmic effects. You don't need to do it that way, but it might
work well with your setup. The SH-101 makes a great sequencer for MOTM, btw.
I use it to sequence my 300 oscillator, my filter cutoff frequencies, etc.
all the time. It also can be stepped by an external trigger. I think simple
pattern drum machines (like the TR-606) or trigger sequencers are great
toys, and with a 320 you'll have a great time too.
