Okay, I was just using my new roland 180, after modifying it to work
with MOTM's (thank you Charles Stella), and my LFO went out. When I say that
it went out, here's what happened: a was doing just a basic patch, and was
switching the patch cable from FM input on the 320 to the 420. I then was
not satisfied with the sound, and so I went back to what I was doing before,
only now, the LFO was not registering any envelopes. So what I was getting
was the equivelant of CV going to the 1V/OCT input on the LFO. To make sure
that it was just the LFO, I cranked up the res on the 420 to self-oscillate,
patched the keyboard into it, and played it like an oscillator. Worked fine.
Then, I turned off the system, turned it back on, and then the LFo wouldn't
do a damned thing. The LED is stuck on green, if I crank the volume up real
loud, I head some VERY bassy, noisy, random rumbling. This does not change
at all if I modulate it with anything.
It's worked fine for months, and then this happened a few hours ago.
Anyone have any idea? I don't currently have a scope available or even a
multimeter, so I can't check it out right now, but I was wondering if anyone
possibly has had this problem before, or had any leads.
