Don't take my comments about the Expressionist lacking true triggers to mean
that you can't retrigger on every note when playing legato. You can set it
up for either single or multi trigger. It just does it differently. The
Kenton outputs a trigger on a separate dedicated jack, while the
Expressionist closes the gate for a few microseconds and then reopens it.
You can't hear it do this, but it allows the EG to retrigger on each note
while playing a legato line. So the audible effect is identical.
