I have a Maq. It is ok, but isn't ideal for my applications. It is very precise and almost has too many posibilities locked in menus, but not obvious to me. I always have to get out the user manual to do things. My only other Sequencer experience is with the Future Retro Mobius. While I hated the interface, it was easy to get good patterns and was fun. It was very hard for me to get exactly what I wanted from it, but easy to make what I got sound good. I only sold it because I could get money quick for it when I needed it.
