Great job, Paul. Progress is always good news! :-)

I had an idea that might actually save you money and even time and help the
DIY community at the same time. I figured that kits were a time consuming
venture because of all the prep work involved and probably the support for
user assembly mistakes and modules sent in for repair.

Instead of kits, how about a new classification called 'Unassembled'?
Instead of individual bags, just throw everything in as few bags as possible
with nothing labeled. (with the only reason for a separate bag or two is to
keep parts from being damaged/scratched) No prepping wires, just cut off a
long enough length to get the job done. No warranty or guaranteed support,
just that the designs are correct, all the parts are there and "if"
assembled correctly it will work as indicated. Builders are left to their
own abilities and the DIY community for support. The only upfront work might
be making minor changes to the 'kit' manuals so new customers aren't
confused looking for a particular bag etc (or maybe just a single cover
letter added explaining the transition from 'kits' to 'unassembled')

The money savings might come from increased quantities of parts you might be
ordering. Right now you are still selling circuit boards and panels etc
which I think is great and I hope you keep doing this, but I'd much rather
buy a complete set of unassembled parts from you for the same price (or even
a little more) then I could source the parts myself from Digikey and Mouser
etc because it would save me a lot of time and even money (if I order the
wrong parts etc) And the easier you make it for people to assemble their
own, the less you'll have to do! ;-)

There may be reasons this wouldn't work for you but I hope you'll consider
it. Please let me know if my rambling doesn't make sense! ;-)

Thanks for listening.
