This is true, and I might end up doing that, but they are also larger
and more expensive.
I've read that electrolytic caps don't work as well when the voltage
rating is much higher than necessary, but I have no idea about film
caps. The plate voltages are all around 200V, but all the original
film caps were 400V, even in the passive filters where the voltages
are relatively low.

It's for an old tube pre-amp. Thanks, I just looked there, and it doesn't
look like they sell capacitors.
