Subject: End-of-the-year push starts today

I am going over the entire order database (800+ orders!) one line at a time,
making absolutely sure no one is left out/forgotten/into a black hole
order-wise. I have had some order cancellations (which is why stuff appears
in the cart). Many orders are 12+ months waiting. I understand order
cancellations, if waiting is too much don't worry about having to cancel.

However, all of these long-waiting orders will begin to ship shortly. I have
everything but all of the log pots. They are due in about 5 weeks. I can
ship ~22 modules that use them (mainly the VCFs and the MOTM-830) before
they arrive. Oldest orders get shipped first.

The last day I ship will be Sat Dec 15th. Shipping resumes around Jan 15th.

I will be sending out emails (and if you are in the US a phone call first)
asking for confirmation on some of the orders (mainly, orders that were
partially shipped by Indiana last year).

This may sound silly, but PLEASE either be there when a package arrives, or
have me send it to someone who will be there. I DO NOT insure packages. I
WILL (in the US) use Delivery Confirmation. If on my end, the post office
says it was delivered, then it was. Maybe not to YOU, but to where you told
me to. I have cases like "My apartment manager will get it for me" or the
dreaded "The postman just leaves it in the lobby and no one will bother it".

My job and responsibility is to:
a) pull it
b) pack it
c) ship it

NOT to ∗deliver it∗. For overseas, the most reliable way (by far) is to use
Global EMS service.

I ∗always∗ send an email when the package ships. This will give US people a
2 day, possibly 3 day warning. EMS takes about 4 days anywhere in the world.
Regular Air Mail to the world is anywhere from 3 days to 7 weeks. This will
be a customs issue.

OK, back to work. I've got about 250 modules to ship in 8 weeks.
