Subject: cloud generator

Given the power of the digital audio engine and the features of the
Cloud Generator, it seems [to this casual observer] that it would be
fairly simple to offer another mode of operation. And that is...
drumroll, please... supersaw mode!
Supersaw mode merely entails giving each virtual oscillator a
sawtooth output. You will ∗easily∗ sell one or 2 modules to trance
music producers, if you add this. (I jest!) Seriously, for all the
work going into this module, it seems to be fairly limited in
features, unique though it is. And, by the way, there is no supersaw
VCO module available.
I believe that the front panels have already been created, so here
are some quick ideas for the user interface:
A jumper on the back panel selects between pulse and sawtooth.
A jumper on the back panel replaces the Wide mode with Supersaw
mode. (Wide Supersaw detuning isn't needed.)
A maximum voltage at the PWM input engages Supersaw mode.
A negative voltage at the PWM (or some other) input engages Supersaw mode.
Lastly, my favorite idea: Replace the Wide/narrow switch with a
3-way switch; the middle setting would be "SS" mode.
Suit and Tie Guy actually suggested this idea in a conversation we
had; he was surprised that there was NOT a supersaw mode, and I had to agree.
Any comments from the peanut gallery?

P.S. Is Supersaw is a Roland trademark?
