Subject: Industrial D*gital Delay Q

From: "David Bivins" <dbivins@...

Hey gang,

Substance (ab)use and eBay only mix once in a great while. This time they
didn't.

I picked up a digital delay that was obviously meant for industrial
application, I guess for lasers or something. It has what appear to be
inlets for conduit on the sides. The circuit board is very accessible, and
there's a little dual-function knob on the front to set the time. I've
peeked around the 'net and found that these delays can range in time from 1
sec up to a lot of seconds (one had 99.99 sec max delay).

But that's neither here nor there if it's meant to delay something other
than audio.

So here they are, the questions:

1) What the hell is this?
2) If I can't use it to delay audio (which I'm assuming), can I use it to
delay voltages/triggers?
3) Is there a third question I should be asking?

Thanks in advance for any help you people can provide.

Best,

David.
