Hi All -
Taking a break from my MCSE studies and saw the revisited TRIM issue. Its
been a while since I've posted here.
I was thinking about the same thing that Eric mentioned - removing the paint
from the edges
of the modules.
The key issue would be to get a super clean edge and consistency among
modules.
My proposed solution would be to score a line with a razor through the paint
then into the aluminum. The next step would be to use the "Binding Cutter
Attachment" from Stewart McDonalds Guitar Supply.
http://www.stewmac.comThis gadget attaches to the end of a Dremel Moto-Tool, and has pre-set width
and depths. There is a special bit that is used with it - kind of looks like
an end mill.
You would need to fashion a jig however to compensate for the excessive
width and depth that the attachment is preset to.
Another possibility would be the Dremel router attachment.
I'm looking for some scrap aluminum that I can experiment with - I'll post
results when finished.
Regards,
Mark
