Subject: Midi guitar pickup

I use a Roland GM 70 Gr to Midi converter with a GK 1 pickup. Also use
a Gr 700 but the midi output is slow. I also used an Ibanez MC 1
(which is for sale). For controllers I use a couple of rare GK 1
pickups and an Ibanez XM Gr style guitar. I have used a host of Midi to
CV converters and they work fine for driving MOTM modules as long as
they are set correctly.
The real challenge is direct signal processing. I used to just use a
compressor to increase gain on the input sde but when I started using
something other than Moog modules I realised that I should be more
careful. I also would hate to ruin my Motm and other modules being
stupid. MOTM modules are the best direct input modules for processing
I hve run across, some of them act just like dedicated rack gear. The
700 is a brilliant exmple.
