Wasn't the MOTM pre-amp idea ditched? Or was that the
turntable preamp?

I see, too bad. I'll try to abuse one of my mixer strips
than, but I guess I need some better solution.
Will a preamp crank up the level to MOTM levels (10V pk-pk)
anyway? Isn't that way too hot, even for pro audio
environments?
