Do you have a genuine Weller tip? I mad the mistake of buying several second
source tips. These were being pushed as being as good as Weller, and a
recommended replacement by a major hobby chain over here. The @#$% things
only last DAYS. I would expect to get 6 months to 2 years from a genuine
Weller tip.
