Subject: Re: [motm] Mock up the MOTM-390 uLFO

Well, now that Paul has shot down JH's award winning (IMHO) design due to
complexity/cost/strangeness (bummer), I thought maybe I should reduce the
cost of my last submission. This of course assumes that multiple phase outs
is expensive - if not, then my prior "Ken-inspired" submission stands.

a) 3 pots, 6 jacks:

RATE
(O)
FM
(O)
SHAPE
(O)

(FM IN) (SIN OUT)
(SHAPE IN) (SAW OUT)
(SYNC) (PULSE OUT)

Essentially a 320 without a 1V/OCT input, a TRI OUT and a LED. (Actually,
I'd sneak a LED in there between the RATE and FM pots, like on the 850.)
TRI is attained at SAW OUT with SHAPE at mid-setting (like the 320).
Reasonablly cheap, utilitarian, and definitely not strange. (bummer)
Downside: a) circuitry is no cheaper than the 320, b) design=yawn.
