Check your power cable and make sure it is properly put on the 900 power supply and the other end on the module itself. I had a smimlar problem before when DC was going from the miss-plugged module to the rest of the modules in the system. This was the single most scary moment (so Far...) in my MOTM history. Check it out

PS. Larry can be thanked for the design of the new pedal interface as well as for talking me into the module by listing its alternative uses in a recent mail. I'm sure Paul got a couple orders after that mail. Larry, thank you for your endless support of MOTM!

Subject: [motm] Busted '420.

Last night, I patched up my 420 for the first time, and had a bit of a bad
expirience.  It's not calibrated, and just built.  When I powered it up, the
other modules in the system worked OK.  But when I patched something into
it, the power cut out on my entire system (8 modules total).  After that,
even when everything was unpatched from it, I couldn't get any power to the
rest of the system.  The other modules worked OK when I unplugged it from
the power module.

I haven't pulled it out to inspect it yet.  Does anyone have any advice on
where to start looking?  Of course, first of all, I'll make sure all the
parts are facing the right direction and look for burnt out ICs.  :)

--PBr, hoping it's something simple and stupid, but thanking his lucky stars
that Paul S. will "repair" modules... ;)
