The parameter section I completely masked off - it's just a big rectangular sticker, so I
just decided to keep that the same.
The knob scales etc were very tricky - I essentially masked them off with strips of tape
just big enough to cover them. A few things, like volume level and sequencer speed, I felt
were more a matter of "put the knob where it sounds right", so I didn't bother with the
level marks for them.
I left the entire "input" section (ie. keypad, write button, etc...) alone, just masked off
a box around the entire thing.

I spent a bit of time on the masking, so the finish is OK... not perfect, but only really
noticeable if you really inspect it.
I have to finish the film in my camera (a waterproof disposable, so I figure I might as well
try to actually use it to get some water shots instead of wasting it on "normal" shots...),
once I do that I should be able to scan them pretty quickly.
In the meantime, I've just uploaded a larger version of the red mockup, it vaguely shows how
I intended to mask off the areas - changed it a little bit, but it's pretty-much how I did
it.
Oh, and I couldn't find a really "red" metallic paint (closest I could find was more a
maroon), so I had to use a "standard" paint, basically your standard "fire-engine red" or
close to it...

Oh, as for the back panel, I completely sprayed that with the intention of printing on a
black KORG logo and nothing else... I've made up a print of the logo, but am still trying to
decide how to apply it. Lack of labelling above the switches / MIDI / etc. is a bit of a
pain, but should be OK once I learn which MIDI port is which, and the switches won't matter
once I move them to the front panel

Hehe, anyone getting sick of my long posts yet? ; p
