I'd like to open another thread, but it's also another reply to
last "EG, filter rate, LFO,..." question.
My idea is to have a more analog look and feel. I'm thinking of
adding an endless rotating pot with increase / decrease function in
parallel to those value (up) and (down) keys.
With that pot you can tweak every parameter you have selected as on a
analog ... (something like that)
I don't have the time to do it on my own Poly, but maybe someone here
is interested and will help developping such a mod.
What we need is an endless rotating pot with 30 signals for 360°,
that's easy to buy. Then a logical interface is needed to analyse
those signals. After that those "up" and "down" triggers from that
interface have to be connected to the user interface PCB of the
synth. And, after all, a pleasant place to build in for that control
is needed.
