While I do miss having the velocity stuff, I always seem to come back
to the Poly 800 for sounds that I just can't get anywhere else.

And I've synced it to all my other keyboards and my drum machines.

But, one of the cooler things I did, a while ago, was trigger it with
my DrumKat (MIDI drum pads with kick pedal type thing). What was
cool is that I was triggering both my drum machine AND the poly 800
with it, so that each drum sound had a note from the Poly layered on
top of it. Sounded pretty cool!!

I've also synced the Poly's clock to my Korg D8 recorder. Also cool
because you can program a sequence, record it, then program a
different sequence, and record it IN SYNC with the first one.

Probably no big deal to most MIDI buffs, but I had fun anyway.
