Hello,
you can find there the answer to this question I received from MidiQuest/Sound quest, in the Yahoo group "soundquest-users". Finally I've find no way to get a communication between poly800II & MQ8. It works with my Cakewalk 5, and even with Alesis Freeloader, but I remember it was difficult. If there is a solution with midiquest I'm very interested.

"Hello Stephen,
The dump request you list below is already included in the driver. If your instrument isn't responding, we've found that some units respond to a different dump request. Try double clicking on the "Patch Bank (Type II)" driver instead and see if this works.

I try a demo version of MQ8, it works very well with my others synths (Roland D), but I can't get no transfert from the Korg poly800II to the computer, only "waiting". I suppose the poly800 doesn't receive the "dump request" message. So my question is where to write the appropriate hex code (F0 42 21 0C 10 F7 I think) to begin the transfert ?"
