reason being, i wanted to see if i could knock up a NovationSL template for the standard EX800,
before installing the kits, using the regular sysex. so that doesn't look possible - by the look of things, the MidiQuest editor is for the Poly800 mkII.
Did, however, find an editor for EX800, written in C# using Leslie Sanford's 'MIDI toolkit'.
think it was on SourceForge, and i'm not sure what you do with this zip, looks like it needs to be compiled.
the UI looks like an old-style windows program.
so i wonder how that works, if the EX800 is not supposed to receive single parameters.
from the images, it handles the main parameters but not all.
just curious about this really. i'm planning to do a RemoteSL mapping for the Hawk parameters instead,
using the NRPN feature on the RemoteSL, which i haven't tried yet.
(Or do these templates already exist?)
