i'm having problems with the panel buttons not triggering consistently.
think this is an old issue, but i can't seem to search past conversations for tips on how to resolve this,
or find anything in the files.
i remember that these are not common parts, and don't really want to have to replace them if i can avoid it.
what are the maintenance tips for this ?? ;-)
can the buttons be opened? would like to sort this out before/at same time.

(this is the pre-amble to installing the mods: checking it over, finding it's dumped all patches,
remembering my buttons are cranky, etc. - have it open; it programs normally, audio and
everything seems ok. in fact my battery socket holder fix hasn't held, and needs resoldering)
