you will need to be extremely careful when pulling the switches apart.

and you will need to be extremely careful when disassembling the switches. There is a very small copper/tin circular disk inside which are very easy to lose.

But they can be cleaned so that the buttons will work like brand new again.

i'm having problems with the panel buttons not triggering consistently.
think this is an old issue, but i can't seem to search past conversations for tips on how to resolve this,
or find anything in the files.

i remember that these are not common parts, and don't really want to have to replace them if i can avoid it.

what are the maintenance tips for this ?? ;-)
can the buttons be opened? would like to sort this out before/at same time.
thanks

(this is the pre-amble to installing the mods: checking it over, finding it's dumped all patches,
remembering my buttons are cranky, etc. - have it open; it programs normally, audio and
everything seems ok. in fact my battery socket holder fix hasn't held, and needs resoldering)
