I haven't looked at the MIDI performance for some time and MIDI response times depend on some factors but you should expect no more than approx. 10mS delay more than original on note onset.

me too, correction 8-) did see the link, and had downloaded it.
i'll try to load it up now.

confession too: i have STILL not fitted the Hawkmod kit i've had
sitting here for years. i think the stars are coming into alignment
for that over the coming couple of weeks - BUT: i'm going to be
having a few fraught questions - particularly as i chop into the DIL
socket. the first BIG question i have is:
 
does the hawkmod+atomahawk introduce any timing difference
with midi response after installation? - think i saw that mentioned,
relative to an old processor having more to do. what's the score?

high time i re-integrated the ex800 one way or another.

as for Ctrlr panels etc. i'm happy to discuss if i can help - it will help
me finish a panel. also interested in mapping up Hawk800 to a Novation
Remote.
