Subject: Re: [korgpolyex] 2.65 Portamento/Mono mode?

Another nice portamento which you don't hear very often is the dual, inverted convergent slide.

Where you have 1+N voices start the slide X distance below and above and they all converge on the struck note and arriving at the same time. The math is incredibly difficult in 8 bit CPU's.

Other variations are great. If the 80C85 CPU wasn't completely maxed out these things are all possible in HAWK.

But at this point, it really makes much more sense to switch to a modern CPU.

Trust me.. I know ALL about those "kinks".

Last week I managed to figure out a Monophonic Mode and Portamento for my ongoing Seenthysizer project.. the Teensy 3.5 board/chip.

I made a video of the key action I was trying to explain where it "trills" a note back and forth.

I also just began to figure out how to get a Pitch LFO modulation to work.
I intend to make the Portamento mode even more interesting later on when I phase the timing for each of the seven voices...  so they all begin to glide a few milliseconds apart to fatten up the sound.
