Q: is EG3 the dedicated Pitch Envelope? other than as an LFO source?
A: Yes, whenever you see EG modulation in P2 parameters, the source is EG3.

Q: what is 'aggressive mode'?
A: Aggressive mode P2 58 increases the resonance intensity such that auto resonation will occur. Otherwise known as the MoogSlayer mod, this mod is in the AtomaHawk kit.

Q: what is the waveform for the SLFOs ?

SLFO waves are:

1=triangle
2=invertedtriangle
3=sawtooth
4=invertedsawtooth
5=sinewave
6=invertedsine wave
7=squarePWM wave
8=invertedsquare PWM wave

These are all running in the background at all times but are selected by routings in the various modulation sections.

Subject: [korgpolyex] RemoteSL mapping

i'm going to have a few questions.

-first up, is EG3 the dedicated Pitch Envelope? other than as an LFO source?

-what is 'aggressive mode'

(i've dug up the ex800 cheatsheet to crib some of the names you've given)

-what is the waveform for the SLFOs ?

i'm thinking it will be pages:
1>DCO
2>VCF
3>LFO/Mods
4>Amp+fx
(broadly)

has anyone GOT a RemoteSL, by the way? :-)
i'm fairly certain a full mapping will be quicker and more intuitive than
looking up parameter numbers each time. i can now get around
ie: a JV1080 in seconds (makes it bearable)
