can you print in different materials? like, only plastic/a polymer?
can you overlay a 2nd matrial? (soz just ruminating. i love those

this is why i mentioned vacu-forming. i don't know what
thickness and rigidity can be achieved with that, though.
ie: if you could print in a heat resistant material,you might
only need to print once,and use it as template/mould.
-for other things, would not be relevant here.
you know how expensive it is to engineer metal moulds
for manufacturing, 3k+ for something simple, completely
impractical for anything like this, etc etc.
