Is it an original Poly-800? If you're using it with MIDI, it ∗will∗ do this. It's a bug and there isn't really a fix.

You could try running it off its own MIDI interface if you're sequencing from a PC, and keep the traffic to a minimum.

You could fit an EX800 ROM and lose the keyboard control, ∗and∗ the bug, or you could make a special ROM twice the size with EX and Poly firmware and add a toggle switch to flip between the two.

According to Michael there's not enough space in the ROM to patch the buggy behaviour.
