Thanks for the input Mike. I tested it out today and everything seems to be working?!
I double-checked the wiring and the board mounting for possible short points with a fine-toothed comb, but come up with nothing.
The studio was recently rearranged so it's plugged into a different outlet. So the only theory I have at this point is dirty power or grounding issues
