Thanks a lot, it was indeed P2 85 set to zero. As soon as I set it to full bend everything started to work :)
I only have to recall how do I save changes made to the patch. If I switch to another patch and come back P2 85 is again set to 0.

If you have the HAWK installed you will need to make sure that the bend parameter P2 85 is set high. Maximum bend depth is 63. No bend = 0.

if I recall correctly KLM601 or KLM601a are responsible for setting the bend range in either direction. If there's a failure on this board one bend direction will be missing.
