The red does make it look pretty damn good - actually, I made up some mock
pictures of the poly with a range of colours first (using the photo from the ad
[just about the only decent shot I can find online], and some simple colour
manipulations), to see which one looked best. I could send them to anyone who's
interested, did mocks of red, light blue, dark blue, yellow, green, and
violet(!?). Metallic yellow looks pretty good too. I sprayed my original poly
metallic light blue (I think the offical name was "cyan"), but didn't get as
intricate in the masking as with this one.

The silver buttons are actually a disappointment - was supposed to be chrome,
but the turned out pretty dull, and use seems to make them even duller... think
I need to go back to the drawing board for them.
Oh, just let me reiterate - it's the buttons that were formerly white that are
now silver, NOT the keys...

I haven't looked too much into the levels, but from what I recall from the
schematics, it looks like it should pretty much be just a standard audio line
level feeding into the VCF section - the VCF section is pretty much stand-alone,
sitting near the final stages of the synth... but I could be wrong. Will look
into it.
I have scans of the schematics on my old site (warning - they are pretty big
IIRC)

I remember thinking about salvaging the VCF from my old board (probably wouldn't
have been fried), but then gave it to a friend-of-a-friend to see if they could
figure out what was wrong, and never saw it again...
