Been doing some more tweaking on the VST versing of the GUI I've been working on.
I swapped out the Filter's msg from the GUI to be simply CC74, instead of the combo CC84/85.
The simpler single msg CC74 halves the msg data and now the HAWK can follow the sine and triangle waves MUCH better now.
See the vid. This one is a tiny bit longer with more variations on the Soft LFO events. There's only the filter being automated and no FX added.

Some duplexing issues to sort out.. all I can do now is either make a wav recording while it plays and sync it back in the video separately, or I can capture and record sync'd audio.. but I cannot monitor the audio while it plays! ugh! I'll figure it out later on..
I'd like to show the filter wobble FX and other FX added in and tweaked in realtime.. but alas, all I can do right now is post a MP3 file on Soundcloud.
