Well, that sounds cool - I'm sure the hex dumps would be a useful
resource for anyone needing to replace the standard EPROMs in their
Poly or EX. It doesn't help me out too much, though, because the
EPROM in the Poly-800 MDK isn't the same as any of the others (mk1,
mk2, or EX-800) - which is the whole problem, really.
I didn't really explain this properly, so to recap: if I can get my
hands on an EPROM-reader, I'll be able to put up schematics, PCB-
scans, a dumpfile containing code for a new EPROM, and instructions,
all of which will enable people to to convert non-sysex-compatible
Poly-800 mk1s into sysex-compatible Poly-800 MDKs. I know quite a
few people are keen to do this.
