Umm yes the list file area has instructions but I did it on my own. And posted about it. I got some (lofi) video of the operation when it was sticky and difficult in the beginning...
I used dry cleaner, was it Kontakt Chemie... anyway, avoid oily stuff as they can absorb impurities over time.

Hi Sami, what did you have to do to clean them,I have never had my EX-800 apart,I guess this has been discussed on here before?

Jason - fixing the buttons is not that hard. I first thought I could live with poorly functioning buttons, but they were really bad. And after I had cleaned them all, the difference was huge. It was like having a new machine! I'm sure replacing the buttons is harder than cleaning them.

I think thats what he means. My EX-800 has the same problem on a few buttons, obviously the ones used most, you either have to hit them hard or wiggle them from side to side to get them to work, but I'm going to leave them be,they are not so bad that you can't use them and it sounds a nightmare to replace them from what I've read.
