Subject: Re: [korgpolyex] Re: Successful EX-800 Battery Replacement

Hi ya,

I think thats what he means. My EX-800 has the same problem on a few buttons, obviously the ones used most, you either have to hit them hard or wiggle them from side to side to get them to work, but I'm going to leave them be,they are not so bad that you can't use them and it sounds a nightmare to replace them from what I've read.
The wav I have is just the bog standard Poly800 presets which are actually very good especially  the one in 4-voice with a japanese tuned percussion sound with a string that comes in underneath.I'd imagine it's the same file as on group.

By tact switches do you mean the program buttons? Because yes these keep sticking on and generally not being very cooperative. Haven't looked into it yet though. Do you know of a tutorial somewhere?

@Metatone_2000 I haven't got up to resetting firmware or factory patches yet. Just reprogramming stuff from my last poly (a borrowed nord lead) into this puppy and generally having ball with new sounds atm. Are the files you mean the same as the sysex ones in the files section on this site or are they something more handy that you have?
