Hi Mike,

I re-flashed the third block of ROM, and the Error 6 has gone away. Who knows how the data got corrupted in the first place! Thanks for the help.

Now, when I power it on, the display reads ERROR 6 after the initial boot. It does this only momentarily before going to patch 11 of whatever bank I have selected. I only have patches loaded on banks 1 and 2, but none of the data is corrupted. In fact, the synth seems to be functioning perfectly normal. I'm usually a "leave well enough alone" kind of person, but can anyone tell me what's causing the ERROR 6? I have the most recent version of the firmware loaded (2.5.5). The user manual only lists errors 1-5!
