Subject: Re: Hawk-800 with BCR2000

Hey Bryce,

I am unfamiliar with how the BFC2000 works..

But to do a basic setup of two knobs doing Quick Param. Change you need to make one knob do CC84 and be values 0-127
make another knob do CC85 and also be values 0-127

Adjust first one to select parameter, 2nd one to change it's value.

To make one knob do two CC's at a time, I do not know.. but if you have trouble assigning two CC's to one knob, I bet it can LEARN the mixed messages my GUI controller outputs.
Get my GUI, run it.. hook up the PC's midi out into your BFC 2000.. make a knob go into learn mode, adjust the GUI control you want it to learn and set it..

Keep in mind that even though a parameter is say.. 0-15, the CC value must go all the way to 127 in order to reach "15".

The HAWK interprets in incoming 0-127 range for a 0-15 parameter as: 0-7 to be 1, 8-15 as 2, 16-23 as 3....
You have to divide the parameter value inside a 0-127 range.
Also 0's and 1's can be interpreted as 1 and 2.

It seems like the NRPN method would be the way to go, though I'm fairly new at this and totally confused. Thanks!
