Due to the ongoing challenge of ensuring maximum performance of the HAWK, I propose reducing the number of patch banks from 4 down to 3. This will free up an entire 8192 of bytes that will then be available for storing sequences and global data. Most importantly though, it will stop the HAWK from missing MIDI time sync which happens when certain "write" commands are issued for certain activities. I am actually surprised no one has noticed this rather glaring bug.
Anyway, if anyone has a strong reason for NOT reducing the banks from 4 to 3, then let me know your reason so that I can take it into consideration.
